Hey, everyone, it’s Catherine with Titan Impact Group and I am here to talk about one of my favorite subjects, which is how to invest in real estate using a self directed IRA.
Most people don’t know about this (so I’m learning).

So what it is, is everybody understands retirement accounts, 401Ks, IRAs, whatever. The difference between those and a self directed IRA means that (with a self directed IRA) you get to tell the money where it’s actually going to be invested, versus somebody else, managing your money and telling it where to be directed.
Then taking fees and all sorts of things like that, whether your money makes money or not, when it’s self directed, it’s all up to you and you get full control of it.
Whatever happens is that that money that gets invested in there, depending on how it’s set up, is tax free inside of that actual vehicle, so that you can continue to be in control of growing your retirement accounts.
