This is Catherine with Titan Impact Group and we’re going to talk about how to invest in real estate notes.
I get asked this question a lot. One of the things to understand is what is a note. A note is simply the mortgage or loan on the real estate. You don’t own the real estate, you just own the actual note.
How you can invest can happen in several ways – you can go and create your own company, and develop the relationships to be able to buy and sell these notes from other investors and things like that.
However, if you don’t have the time to do that, you can work with companies like mine, who already have the team, the systems and structures and everything set up where we match each investor up with one note, and the investor continues to make the profit from that note and, you know, continue to invest that way.
So we what we say to our investors, is that we send their money out there and it comes back with lots of friends.
One of the things we love is, you know, the average millionaire has an minimum of seven streams of income. So the question is, how many streams of income do you have? What are they backed by? What are they secured by and how much time is it taking you to manage all that?
